    After 2 years of development we finally have a design we are happy with. Introducing the top adjustable motor
    mount for 4 cycles. The QPT Mount, QUICK PERFECT TENSION. At the turn of your wrist you can adjust your
    chain tension perfectly every time. No more going under the kart to change gears or set your chain tension.
    No more dealing with a chain tension that isn't perfect because it just wouldn't set right when moving the
    motor. Just turn one screw, no locks or complication. Change gear by as much as 7 teeth without having to
    climb under the kart.

    Looks good Jim what degree is it 8 ? The height ends up about what a thick top PM is ?

    Dumb Question......can top plate be mounted so adjuster screw is in front instead of rear ??

    That's a great question!!
    What you could do is put the risers on the other way.
    Instead of the taller one on the end with the adjuster bolt put it on the opposite end of the sub plate.
    Then put the shorter riser on the end where the adjuster bolt is.

    What keeps it from adjusting in flight? Can you put it on a one piece sub plate?

    That would work better for me. Having front access would help me from burning forearms on pipe assembly.

    Just use a long extension, socket and ratchet.

    Is any right hand offset possible with the QPT? Is it available for 28mm frame rails?

    Yes it can be offset to the right a considerable amount but i don't know how to reference it to something.
    Yes it will work on 28 mm frame rails.

    One of my friends (Eric) changed the rear sprocket at the track the other night. Eric has the QPT mount.
    There was another friend (Tom) there at the trailer with a conventional motor mount.
    He started to change his sprocket at the same time as Eric. ---- I watched.
    When Eric was done he helped Tom loosen and retighten his mount several times to get the chain tension right.
    Tom is supposed to stop over to purchase a QPT mount before the next race.
