You can find good seasoned cranks at old lawn mower shops and service places like that, they work on alot of small engines like these and sometimes have alot of scrap parts we can actually use....good blocks and heads, carbs, cranks, sometimes flywheels. Some of the older cranks did have a smaller journal on the clutch side pto bearing in the side cover so you may or may not have to change it. You can possible use the side cover and crank both if you can find one. The old shops here have alot of flatheads and all types of OHV parts and engines and are usually a Briggs and Stratton dealer also

We've got plenty on the shelf yet. Give us a call if you are needing anything for flatheads.
