    blockzilla mfg

    what did the blockzilla come on as a production engine?
    what years were they in production?

    They came on nothing it was a collaboration between Edelbrock and Briggs for a machined aluminum Raptor (Block,head,sidecover)
    Think the Jr Drag guys were more behind its development and it found its way to karting

    Thanks that answers my question.. it was never a "production motor" it was produced as "parts" to make a motor. like any other part, piston, rod, ect.
    I had received a question about our small block open class, at Jackson Speedway. our rule includes the words production motor.. this engine therefore would not be legal.

    Majority of SBO classes allows the Blockzilla to be used due to the fact that its stamped with a Briggs&Stratton emblem. I dont see the problem as the OHV's tend to be flavored anyway.
