    Stickers on new tires

    Do you have to have to tires cut to remove all the sticky residue left behind from the stickers?

    No, gasoline will take it off.

    Cutting the stickers off will make them faster though, at least from our experience.

    I think you should add MOST of the time it will, BUT not every application is this true.

    Ok, Ken, every application that we've seen.
    Not saying cut every tire to the cords.
    We do still cut 11s; even thin rubber (Yellows, Pinks) and have yet to see them run slower after being cut.

    Getting rid of that glue on the Burris stickers is the "key" though.

    We haven't set a set of Burris tires in a few years. and have and really got results

    Acrysol/naptha and scrub with terry cloth towel
