    Good RPM for purple plate animal

    It's been way to long since we ran purple plate, what are you guy's turning them ? on a bigger track if it makes a difference.

    In the 5800 to 6200 rpm works for small tracks and in the 5600 to 6000 on big tracks.

    There are 3 hole and 2 hole purple plates?

    Thanks , I was thinking it was 5800 to 6000 but could only remember back to the gold plate years lol !!

    3 hole purple, Ken, I would think you're right on target.
    Like Steve said, 5800 on momentum ovals, as much as 6200 for a track where you have bigger rpm drops in the corners.
