We will again feature

Speedway Karts--Flat Track Bikes & Quads racing on a baby smooth Coke Syrup Racing Surface.

We will have 2 trophy classes

Kid Karts with 50cc Comer engines 4-7 yrs

Gas Rookie .425 IKF Blue Plate @ 235 lbs 8-11 yrs

JR 1 Light .425 IKF Blue Plate @ 235 lbs 8-11 yrs

JR 1 Heavy .425 IKF Blue Plate @ 270 lbs 8-11 yrs

JR 2 Light .500 IKF Red Plate @ 285 lbs 12-15 yrs

JR 2 Heavy .500 IKF Red Plate @ 320 lbs 12-15 yrs

Stock Lite @ 320 lbs 16 & older

Stock Medium @ 345 lbs 16 & older

StockHeavy @ 370 lbs 16 & older

Animal Medium @345 lbs 16 & older

Animal Heavy @370 lbs 16 & older

4-Cycle Open Class @ 370 lbs 16 & older

Entry fees,

Trophy classes $30each

Money classes $60 each

Pit passes 0-2 years old FREE

Pit passes 3-10 years old $15 per day, $25 for both days

Pit passes 11 years & up $20 per day, $35 for both days

Doors will be open for pitting Thursday evening & will open again at 7:30am Friday morning

Registration will begin 9 to 9:30am Friday morning

A MANDATORY PIT MEETING FOR EVERYONE @11:15 am.

Hot laps will begin at noon

Heat races will begin @ 2:00pm

Pre-Race program & Features for the spectators will begin @ 7:00pm both nights

Track will be 1/10 mile Coke Syrup

Kiddie Karts all receive participant awards

Gas Rookie's Top 5 Trophies

We will again have an OPEN TIRE event

Tire prepping is ok, HOWEVER you must have tires wiped dry before setting kart on grid to keep the grid as dry as possible.

Last year the grid was wet & slippery which is very dangerous for everyone setting karts down & even just walking on grid. "This is for everyones safety"

Last year we also we had way too much prep tracked out from the grid which made a very slippery spot all the way into turn 2 which sent some drivers into the wall.

We will again have FREE ELECTRICITY!!!

We will again have FREE PARKING!!!

We will again have a FAST & SMOOTH TRACK!!!

Conccession stand will be open for food most all day.

THERE IS NO PRE-ENTRY!!!!!!!!!

THERE ARE NO LATE FEES!!!!

Drivers name, class, kart number & home town so we can get as much info as possible for programs & pre-race show.

This is a great race. Mike is a great guy. Runs a very good show and has a great pay out. Thought we would miss this year will be in Florida for 2 weeks. But just realized its a week after. Count us in. Stock lgt, med, and hvy. Animal med and hvy and what the heck maybe 4 cycle open. See you after Florida.

mike no clones?

mike tryed the clones last yr only to have a poor showing, I myself was suppose to bring 6 with me but everyone came up with an excuse not to go when it was show time. I beleive we only had 4-5, not enough for a good show in my eyes. Give the clones another yr and then invite them again by then their will be 10-15 as the class will be far enough north to draw some from the upper midwest and not the middle of IA.

We are coming up with animals and flatheads, but will scab some karts together with two clones also if you decide to have the class.

we would be there with clones also. hard to bealieve it would be hard to get a show they always seem to be good in numbers. but if no clones how about a super heavy class

Mike puts on an awesome show. We made plans for this one on the way home last year. We may have a kid kart entry too. #00

I would also be interested in the clone class.. We've been talking about attending this event since the beginning of syrup season and would hate to not have the class. Please keep the details coming.. -ashlee becker

Actually I have no problems with a clone class & feel they are good for karting.

There are no clones in this area & we have no way to properly tech clone engines & that is why I didn't include them this year.

I am assuming that the majority of clones come from the waterloo area.

Would there be somebody from your area coming who would have tech tools & be willing to tech the clone engines?

I would prefer for for somebody to call me to email me so it doesn't get out of hand on this thread.

have you heard anything more bout clones? as far as lettin them race or not?

I haven't actually had very many requests for clones & do not have tech tools for clones as there are not any clones in this area.

If the clone racers are serious about coming I need to know ASAP & I will have tech tools.

I NEED ALL THE "CLONE RACERS THAT WILL COME" TO POST ON HERE.

IF there are enough for a good show I can make it happen.

Yes a Clone could be run in the Open 4-Cycle class as can a Star or Kohler or Briggs.
