hey guys, looking at possibly coming down and bringing a few friends to this show in febuary, do you have to have uas points to qualify to run this show? I'd really like to come, just would hate to drive 11 hours and be turned away

No you will need a UAS license though. If you guys have ran with Brad and the gang out there or in another UAS region contact the Regional Administrator and ask them to vouch for you with the National office. If they will then fill out the license form and pay your money.

I have not got the chance to run with brad, infact, I just picked up my open, but looking for a place to go on a vacation and this seems like a nice place, how much are the UAS licenses?

If you havent run open before, then this show probably wont be a good place to start!

Ive run opens before, just this is the first of my own that would actually be competitive in the uas with my weight...looking for a place to go on a small vacation, yet come have fun

Has any UAS Regional Administrator seen you race that would vouch for your ability?

The National Office will not issue a license without a regional administrator signing off on the application.

The arangment with Tony Barton is that all racers entering the UAS division must have a UAS license to compete also.

personally to be honest, I dont know if they have seen me race, ive never paid much attention to the UAS until now, because I always viewed open as open until I read the rules...I'll get a license if its required, just needed to make sure I didnt need 2000 national points or something to attend or something crazy as such

The last time Bobby and I were on the track together I honored the move over flag till we got to the corner and the leader of the race spun out to miss me. Of corse he was so far ahead that the yellow never flew and he still won.
