Re: 200 mph kart!

In his dreams for sure. Current bid (10/5, 11:45 am) is $102.50; sounds about right, judging from the pictures, if seller agrees to pay shipping.

Yes, I heard it was actually made in Maranello, by Enzo Ferrari himself, lol. I wonder if it would even crank and turn.

there is no way that green bungee cord is rated for 200mph, only the red ones have that rating

That is one fine looking machine............well engineeree and clean as a pin. I'd like to be at the track when it produces that 200 mph speed.

Re: 200 mph kart!

I think it could win the WKA Nationals in Daytona. It hurts me inside to think people dont like this piece of finely built machine. These people spent hours and hours engineering and designing this kart. I give em a 10! Well 10 dollars

No worries. The engineers have addressed this concern. All parts at risk of flying off have been fully secured by bungee cord.

Re: 200 mph kart!

It would be cool if we could get this guy to put his kart on "Myth Busters". Sad thing is, this guy probably, really believes this BS.
40 mph on that thing would FEEL like 200.

The kart appears to be an 83 Margay Expert III chassis. I had one back when they were new.

Re: 200 mph kart!

I believe that by the time the Exp-III was out,
Margay had done away with that built-in seat support.
Maybe a Exp-II.

Re: 200 mph kart!

It's a Coyote didn't you read...;0) I believe you're right, my first kart was an Expert (aka Xpert). I won a lot of races on that kart and it still has a special place in my heart.......What a shame to think one of its siblings has been so disgraced and put through this kind of torture!!

Re: 200 mph kart!

It says the motor hasn't even been broken in, then later it says he has changed the oil twice. Why would you change the oil if you never ran it? And how would the oil turn black if it wasnt run?

Re: 200 mph kart!

the only way that pile of junk will hit 200 is if its in a air plane being shiped to the sucker that buys it .the tires will come apart at 200 mph
their is a kart on youtube that had a 1300 hybusa or 1100 gsxr , that might reach 200 but its sketchey

It must be listed in the same category as the nitrous boosted Lazy boy that was confiscated by cops in a DWI arrest in my adopted home state of Minnesota .

I saw that on TV, that thing is neat !!! Saw another one at a race track somewhere on TV. Just seems a little top-heavy, narrow, with a short wheelbase for my blood.
