Mycron 2 question

I have a mycron 2 that was used on a rotax. I run a modified WF, I hooked gauge all up and I am having RPM problems on gauge. If I hooke up my rev limiter it hits at 7100 rpm my mycron 2 says 2600 rpm, If I unhook rev limiter it will go to 3700 but I no I am running about 8000 RPM. I have went through all set up on gauge is there something I am missing or did not do. Is there a difference in 2 or 4 cycle gauges.

Thanks Ray.

Re: Mycron 2 question

Check your "sparks per rev" number, make sure it is set to "1". Then check your "max rpm's" and set it for about 400-500 more than you think you will run (if you are running 8000, set it for 8500).

Then try it again.
