Also when calling a guy and asking him questions, make sure you tell the guy exactly what you are trying to do exactly. Or that person isn't gonna be able to help you out. And maybe can't even point you in the right direction.

Hunter, or Blossom isn't gonna know the first thing about a deck extension gx200 motor, let along gx200 rods, and pistons to fit the gx200. I don't know why you didn't call the place that actually MAKES the billet rods to begin with???

if I'm reading between the lines here your saying ARC doesn't make the rods??? it's the only ones I've found so far so WHO MAKES THEM? I haven't even seen another make rod so far, through a guy a bone will ya

Re: outlaw / open motors

I have watched all this hoopla and zeke, they are not going to tell you all, they never will cause they think that they are secrets....and in reality they are not. They gave you basics so try to please you and they did that.
My advice is not to over do it like I did. I started with briggs flatheads and made them like some of my old flat head fords, didn't work, to much can hurt you. You need a dyno, and flow bwnch is all, the rest is trial and error.
we all have our likes and dislikes and many answers here are simply that. I go for performance, not looks, not what anyone says. The dyno doesn't lie. The flow bench doesn't lie. jd is right abut valves, but watch the size. Bore and stroke are always good if you have the correct cam.
email me sometime and I will tell you about a new theroy(sp) I have.
I believe I have been here longer than most and have seen all kinds of blind leading the blind, lies, truths.....just alot of stuff. I LOVE compitition so I am not afraid to tell all I know, some don't.....
