When I saw that wall of Georgia clay I thought we were both gone - what a recovery and fight to the front, great racing by everyone, close and fast, see you all soon!
Ole Nick has a little body work to do on the nose of his machine. That Georgia clay sticks to everything. LOL
Good to finally meet up with all you guys, the B-Man is a gas, as is Tedder, had some good talk during the Sat rain delay. Wish the weather would have been nicer so you all could have raced on Sat, but I guess one day is better than none.
Not a good weekend for Brett. He also blew a tire coming down the hill in turn twelve in his B-stock at over 100MPH and flat spun it on the front straight... I would have needed DEPENDS after that!
Yeah, wasn't that TS guy supposed to kick the crap out of us? Did he even start?
When we had that one round of practice on Friday, and Bret was up toward the front of the 4 cycle session, Scott ran him down and passed him on the front straight. Sandbagging was what I first thought. But he was slow in the race on Sunday too, couldn't be the weight either ......... Scott was over 380# for Sunday. So, I don't know what the problem was he had.
Yes, he did start the 360# race, but pulled in ( running ) after about 5 laps or so ( just a guess ). I was figuring Bret to be really fast at Atlanta.
Dave E.
PS And by the way, nice Championship in 385# Andy !!
I don't know Jack. I saw where they were pitted, but didn't want to snoop.
Jack, How can I tell if the chassis is a "new" one or the old style? I'm trying to figure out what is making the "new" chassis behave the way you have described.
Dom, if Spaude had motor problems, he had them all weekend from what I saw.
Im confused by the new chassis problems as well and what makes them new? Jack, id be happy to drive both bryce's and your karts at daytona of course if i make it there. I didnt get a good feel for Bryce's at road america with half a lap. We will get you up to speed!
