What is the correct way of breaking a new 6.5 in?

This is what I do: Use 30wt non-synthetic oil, run it under a load for about 10-15 min. Drain all the oil out, prop the rear of the kart up if needed to get every last drop. Then leaving the plug out I pour some more oil thru it to get out any residual shavings. Let that drain then put the plug back in, then fill it back up with the 30 wt again. You can run it this time for probly 30 min to an hour. Drain again like above, then switch to a synthetic. This is just what I do, others may do it different.
Hope it helps

I have no idea what the rings in your clone are like, but Honda chrome plates the top (Compression) ring. This is done for longevity. The down side is it takes forever to seat the chromed ring. What I have found works is to use a 280 grit hone and then break it in using the Kart and driver. I have the driver run about 10 minutes of full power the full off the throttle. On an oval this is full power down the straight away, then off the throttle all the way through the corner. A road course works great for this.
Then after the initial ten minutes, pull the Kart off the track and allow the engine to cool to where it is cool to the touch. Now go do it again. I have the driver do this for three full sets.
This is a lot more work than the sit it on the stand and let it run, but it sure works. All of this is done using non-det 30W oil. Actually a great place to use really cheap oil. The less additives the better.

Lets face it guys...
Breakin is tough , its important and its a give n take......I agree with everything said with the warning that faster breakin means more metal in the oil...This is a non filtered , splash system prone to dumping all that into the crank journal...Breaking in the crank and rod surfaces is a different story....Change oil often.......
The clone top ring is chrome in the clone but I thought Korea made all rings...Even for Honda....I don't know if China makes there own rings...All looks the same to me including the letters that are stamped for up and down....
